This course provides delegates with an in-depth understanding of the changes to the format and content of the Standard, including a review of audit protocols and BRCGS expectations. It emphasizes how the updated requirements reflect the diversity of the packaging industry and what these changes mean for businesses. Delegates will gain the knowledge needed to prepare for audits, address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, perform root cause analysis, and issue certificates.
The course uses active learning through case studies to encourage critical thinking. Participants will learn how to implement the Standard in their sites and understand how auditors assess compliance.
Participants must read and review the Standard, including the glossary (available for free from the BRCGS Store), along with the pre-course materials. At the end of the course, participants will take an exam.
